Character, Not Convention
Every room at In The Vine has been individually styled rather than duplicated from a template.
High ceilings and wooden floors run throughout, a nod to the manor's history, while each suite and cottage carries its own personality: the elevated calm of the Royal Suite with its mountain views, the top-floor privacy of the Villa Suite, the garden intimacy of the Olive Suite, and the courtyard charm of the Rhubarb Room.
Beyond the rooms, the manor's public spaces carry the same character — a library landing for quiet mornings, an entrance hall that sets the tone before a single suitcase is unpacked, and gardens that shift in colour with the seasons.

At the Centre of the Winelands
While the manor is a destination in its own right, its position is part of its appeal.
Some of the Cape Winelands' most celebrated wine estates, restaurants, and galleries sit within minutes of the front gate, and the Helderberg's hiking trails begin almost at the doorstep. In The Vine is, in every sense, in the vine — surrounded by the landscape that gives the region its name, and offering a base from which to explore it at an unhurried pace.

History of The Manor
In die Wingerd:
1948
Dating back to 1948, The Manor House was the creation of former ambassador from Netherlands, Prof. Dr. D.B. Bosman. He is the author of the H.A.T. Afrikaans to English dictionary. The original farm belonging to the "Bosman" Family was devided into two pieces of land. The "In die Wingerd" farm was born.
Original charm, such as Dutch Tiles surrounding the fireplace, wooden floors, original beams, the wooden staircase and the "butler's" room all add to the character of this graceful Manor House.
In the Vine Country Manor:
2003
Current owners Kotie and Terésa Pepler bought the farm in 2003. Renovations replacing all steel windows and doors took place in 2007. The Pepler home became a luxury Guesthouse in December 2012. The name "In the Vine" was born.
The Farm:
We have an organic vegetable and herb garden and an orchard, starting the process of moving towards a self-sustainable farm.
